April 22, 2006 -- What Made Milwaukee Famous

Peter Turner from LightWurx Media, in coordination with Soundcheck Magazine, photographed the Austin Music Foundation benefit concert. The feature performance showcased the SxSW debut band, What Made Milwaukee Famous. Shots from the show can be seen in the new issue of Soundcheck Magazine and in the Turner's Musician's Gallery.

LightWurx Media supports the Austin Music Foundation and its efforts to support and bolster the local Austin live music scene. We ask that you keep up with the activities planned by the AMF and remember, the best way to support live music is to attend shows and support your favorite acts.

January 3, 2006 -- More Shots Fired!

Rock band Before Dawn and Peter Turner from LightWurx hook up again for some remote studio shots at The Velvet Spade. Those images should be available on the Before Dawn website soon!


December 22, 2005 -- Continuing The Work

Continuing their partnership, the band Before Dawn and photographer Peter Turner from LightWurx Media collaborate again, this time with Peter capturing their live performance at Elysium on December 22nd. Pictures from the event have already been posted on Before Dawn's web site. Check out the blazing color of their stage performance!


November 16, 2005 -- LightWurx Donates To A Worthy Cause

LightWurx agreed to develop a web site for the non-profit organization Jack's Friends Foundation. The group was created to support the prevention of animal cruelty and takes its name from a dog brutally tortured and killed in S. Austin. LightWurx as able to create their site in record time and had it ready for public release by Thanksgiving. LightWurx continues to support this cause by donating its time and energy in keeping them operational.


October 11, 2005 -- LightWurx And Starlight Collaborate

Photographers Chuck Schmitz and Peter Turner of LightWurx Media agree to create the main web site for Starlight RV Resort of Spicewood, TX. Both photographers documented the RV park and created the concept, logos and final presentation of the site. The owners and their customers are pleased with the end results!


October 6, 2005 -- LightWurx Captures The Dawn

LightWurx photographer Peter Turner is working with the Austin local band Before Dawn in a deal to capture them in photos and consult on web page revisions. The collaboration has been great and both the band LightWurx see this as lasting partnership!


June 29, 2005 -- Expanding The Business!

Photographer Chuck Schmitz of Tejas Photography joins forces with Peter Turner from LightWurx Media to create a service company geared toward electronic and print promotion. Originally, both photographers had thought that they would exclusively target musical groups & performers, but they soon discovered that their services were equally as desirable for some businesses, actors and professional models as well.
